Peanut Price Highlights

Peanut prices received by farmers for all farmer stock peanuts averaged 25.5 cents per pound for the week ending May 30. The price per pound increased 0.8 cent from the previous week. Marketings of all farmer stock peanuts for the week ending May 30 totaled 76.3 million pounds, down 10.4 million pounds from the previous week.

The average price of Runner type peanuts was 24.9 cents per pound for the week ending May 30, up 0.6 cent from the previous week. Marketings of Runner type peanuts were 65.9 million pounds, down 7.42 million pounds from the previous week.
