Lower export of frozen strawberries

According to preliminary data on export in 2008 Poland exported 85.6 thousand t of frozen strawberries at value 116 million euro.

As compared to 2007 the export volume decreased by about 17 % from 103.2 thousand t and its value decreased by 9 %. The most important recipient of Polish frozen strawberries remained Germany but in 2008 import to this country amounted to only 30 thousand t and was by 10 thousand t less than in 2007.
