BNPP-Fortis: World 09-10 Coffee Surplus 14.66M Bags
World 2009-10 (October-September) coffee production is expected to exceed consumption by 14.66 million 60-kilogram bags, BNP Paribas Fortis Bank said in its monthly report Thursday. This is down slightly from the July estimate of a 2009-10 surplus of 14.86 million bags, although it is a larger surplus than the 6.16 million bags in 2008-09.
