The supply of onion is still insufficient and as a result its price grows. On Friday, February 12, the price of good quality domestic onion was 1.00 – 1.50 PLN (0.25-0.37 €)/kg) depending on the area of Poland.

Price of onion imported from the Netherlands was at the level of 1.20 – 1.50 PLN (0.30-0.37 €)/kg (onion’s price in the Netherlands reached 0.31 €/kg).

This season in Europe is very difficult to find good quality onion. Onion for processing is also more and mores expensive. On Friday price of peeled onion reached 1.30 PLN (0.32 €)/kg.
